My memory poem - CRUZ

Kia ora
I am a member of room 22 Kotuku this year.
My name is CRUZ and this is my memory poem.

my feet remember the puffy air coming through the hole in the bouncer,
my legs remember tiring after running around,
my body remembers my hot sweat sprinting down my back,
my arms remember muscles pumping and pounding like my heartbeat,
my hands remember the puffy gloves smashing me in the face,
my face remembers the red force dragging my face,
my mind remembers the happiness stretching across my smile.

  1. Ka mau te wehi, Cruz - this is a tremendous piece of work! I liked how the hot sweat was "sprinting" down your back. That gave me a really clear picture in my head.

    Keep up the great work!
